Warriors of the Word Linkup

Warriors of the Word Linkup on plungedeep-climbsteep.com

I’m a fighter. Sure I have days where I need a break; but for me, the greater the challenge, the more eager I am to tackle it. I am all about preparation, strategy, and choosing the best tools to accomplish victory.

But this is not my war. I follow my King, and He has given us the ultimate weapon of His Word. Deborah was found under a tree speaking the message of God before she went into battle. David the warrior and king spent time in communion with God while shepherding his sheep. Jesus himself spent time in solitude praying to His Father. It’s not just our weapon, it’s our source. Drink from the fountain of living waters, instead of scraping the bottom of your own broken cistern. (Jeremiah 2:13) Find vitality in the everlasting Power, and be refreshed so you can go out and fight for Him.

This linkup is for bloggers to share truth from God’s Word for the everyday battles. Check the blog on Thursday mornings for the Warriors of the Word Linkup! To see other places I linkup, see my menu bar at the top of the site.

  1. Thank you for the link up party.. so nice to have one with a little different twist. 🙂 I’m not sure if I did something wrong or if it is a glitch, but to do the link-back, it goes to InLinkz not to your actual blog. Just wanted to give a “heads up”. Congratulations on your first day of the new link up.

      • I’m sorry, I don’t know you, so I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or serious 😅 Good should always be fought for, and evil resisted. There’s a reason law and law enforcement is needed for community to thrive and have peace. There will always be evil that threatens what is good, until God says this time is done.

  2. I really like your analogy from Jeremiah 2:13 of how we often draw from our own empty cisterns instead of going to the rich waters that God has already provided for us in His Word and prayer. Blessings for your link-up!

  3. Looks like it will be a great linkup! We are all warriors for our Lord and King, Jesus. He gives us the strength to fight against the evil and share his love.

Blessings to you, Liz! I’m your neighbor at #FaithonFire
