The Bible says:

God is a Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, 1 John 5:7-8

The Son Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26,27

He was perfect until his death on the cross to save the world from their sins. John 3:16

His resurrection gives us new life, both here on earth and in heaven. Romans 6:6-11

The Bible is his perfect inspired word to us, our primary authority, and is God’s tool for transforming our lives through the working of the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:19-21, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, John 14:26

Baptism is simply an example by which we show our new identity in Christ and obedience to God. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance by which we recall our duty to confess sin and cleanse our hearts before Him. Colossians 2:12, Acts 8:36-38. 1 Corinthians 11:23-28

The church exists both in the collected body of believers in Christ and in the autonomy of the local church. The church’s purpose is to edify its members, disciple new believers, and take the gospel to the world, all in a spirit of love for God and for them. Ephesians 4:15,16, 1 Corinthians 14:26, Matthew 28:19,20
